Listed Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI), a subsidiary of Megaworld Corp., is investing an initial P5 billion over the next five years to develop a 116-hectare beachside township in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The project, called Nascala Coast, will be Megaworld Group’s 36th township. It will feature residential villages, beachside condominiums, commercial hubs, and leisure destinations with views of Nasugbu Bay and nearby mountain ranges.
The estate will also include commercial lots, mixed-use centers, and town centers.
"Nascala draws its name from ‘Nasugbu,’ the picturesque municipality in Batangas where it rises, and the Spanish word ‘Escala,’ meaning ‘climb’—a fitting nod to its elevated setting near the coast,” GERI President Monica T. Salomon said Thursday.
“This township captures the essence of Nasugbu’s distinct allure, where unspoiled beaches, breathtaking mountain vistas, and a deep cultural heritage converge. More than just a destination, Nascala Coast is envisioned as a thriving coastal address where tourists can enjoy the best of nature and generations of families can flourish.”
Nasugbu is a popular destination known for its beaches and outdoor activities, including hiking spots like Mount Batulao, Mount Talamitam, and Mount Palay-Palay.
Nascala Coast is about 2.5 hours from Metro Manila and accessible via SLEX, CAVITEX, and the Ternate-Nasugbu Highway.
GERI’s other lifestyle and leisure communities include Alabang West, Eastland Heights, Arden Botanical Estate, Southwoods City, Sherwood Hills, Lialto Beach and Golf Estates, The Hamptons Caliraya, and Sta. Barbara Heights in Iloilo.
