Alex Eala continues her stellar run in the Eastbourne Open after a 6-1, 6-2 win over Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine in the quarterfinal in Great Britain on Thursday (Manila time).
Eala, 20, needed one hour and six minutes to sweep past Yastremska as she continues her run in the last grass tournament before the Wimbledon Championships on Monday.
By making it into the semifinal, the Eastbourne Open is Eala's best run so far in a grass tournament this year.
The Rafael Nadal Academy graduate will face Varvara Gracheva of France in the semifinal on Friday at 6 p.m.
