What is the endgame of U.S.-Israel in Iran?

A cornered Iran is more dangerous and they will easily embrace the last option — nuclear war.

The endgame scenario

Remember the time the US invaded Iraq? The US boasted they did a phenomenal Blitzkrieg of all Blitzkriegs, as the invasion took only 12 days. Invasion was easy but occupation was a big failure. The US ended up leaving a power vacuum, causing chaos. Through time, Islamic forces slowly regrouped and ended up forming new scattered splinters, the ISIS being the most prominent. This was the endgame in Iraq.

It was the same in Afghanistan. The US defeated the Taliban, but over time the occupation was a big failure. Conquest was easy but governance was a headache. When the US bolted Afghanistan, the Taliban took over, acquiring the massive arsenals the US was forced to leave behind. That was the endgame in Afghanistan.

The mindset of modern warriors is strange. They are good at invading and conquering, but eventually the place is in ruins, and they don’t know what to do except to go home, leaving the society mutilated and in shambles.

So we ask, what is the endgame of an Israeli-US conquest of Iran. Will they do the same? Let us assume Israel and the US succeed in bringing down Iran. If they install a puppet regime, will it work against a seething mutilated populace? A puppet regime will not work in Iran.

If the US and Israel, in truth, just want the oil and gas of Iran, over and above their fear of a nuclear-capable Iran, will they massacre the Iranians so they can keep the oil and gas? What is the endgame for the conquerors?

It is the same in Gaza. If Israel occupies Gaza, will it succeed in getting in the good graces of the people they massacred and mutilated? What is the endgame of Israel in Gaza — the complete annihilation of Palestinians? If this is the endgame Israel is thinking of, they should think twice. It is an impossible endgame scenario. The alternative to genocide is co-existence.

Right now, the Gaza Genocide is ongoing, churning up a lot of anger worldwide. Palestinians would rather die than be under Israel. The IDF is good at conquest, but they know nothing of governance. It seems Israel is willing to finish the genocide of Palestinians so they can occupy Gaza with no Palestinians around.

The nuclear scenario

Let us take one step backward. The other scenario is if Iran is not conquered it will fight for its survival, but this may result in a nuclear war to theoretically “save” it. Ironically, there are no winners in a nuclear war. The rationale is — so let us all die.

A cornered Iran is more dangerous and they will easily embrace the last option — nuclear war. The same with Israel. If they are cornered they will also opt for nuclear war. Let us all die.

All this is an intellectualization of something that may or may not happen. In truth, it is better if we leave everything to God. He may choose to punish a sinful world, as He did in Sodom and Gomorrah and the Tower of Babel — the God of Wrath. Or He may choose to forgive us if we repent of our sinful ways — the God of Mercy.

For us fence-sitters in the Middle East war, prayer is our only recourse. Lord, grant us peace.
