

The Jomar’s Haven of Hope Foundation (JHHF) and Boundless Possibilities Foundation (BPF) celebrated the grand opening of the Gentle Giants’ Training & Livelihood Center (2G-TLC) in Quezon City.
The new center, a collaborative effort between the two foundations, aims to foster independence and productivity among adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The facility is designed with various spaces for skills training and therapeutic support, including a dance and music studio, an art room, a printing room and a baking area.
Opening celebrations saw the presence of key figures from both organizations, including JHHF chairman Atty. Nilo T. Divina, JHHF executive director Monette Matibag, BPF Managing Trustee Ms. Josephine Palomares and members of the BPF Board of Trustees, along with the “Gentle Giants” (individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities) and their parents and guardians.
A highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Gentle Giants Art Exhibit, which will be open for public viewing at the center from 15 June to 15 July 2025.
The Jomar’s Haven of Hope Foundation Inc. was established by Atty. Divina and his family in memory of his late son, Josemaria Javier A. Divina, also known as “Jomar.”
The event was attended by representatives from various civic organizations and government bodies which included Atty. Walter Jason G. Alava (Regional Programs Coordinator, National Council on Disability Affairs), Jean Gonzales, (president, Philippine Association for Citizens with Developmental & Learning Disabilities), Cecille Sicam (Trustee, Autism Society Philippines), Alex Cabason, (president, Families of Individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities-Philippines), Jun Cham, (president, Association for Adults with Autism Philippines), Michelle Aventajado, (executive director, Best Buddies Philippines), Alice Sementilla, (president, Children with Disabilities Under Parents of Barangay Holy Spirit), Allen Christian Garcia, (vice president, The Filipino Autistic Self-Advocacy Team Inc.), Sara dela Rosa (Barangay Holy Spirit), Flordeliza Patoc (Barangay Payatas) and staff members representing Congressman Raffy Tulfo (District 2, Quezon City).
