Presidential teacher

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visits Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School in Malate, Manila, on Monday, 16 June 2025, to mark the start of the new school year and the return to the traditional June-to-March calendar. During the visit, he led a reading session with Grade 1 students and reviewed the school’s security, including CCTV monitoring. The Department of Education expects about 27 million students to enroll this year.
