Road repairs continue on Independence Day
Workers took advantage of the Independence Day holiday to carry out repairs at the EDSA Kamuning flyover on Thursday. The scene unfolded as the 19th Congress of the House of Representatives adjourned without ratifying the bill seeking to raise the minimum wage for private sector workers. Senate President Francis "Chiz" Escudero, in a statement on Wednesday, said he would welcome the House’s adoption of the Senate’s proposed P100 minimum wage increase.
