Sixty-one of 64 senatorial candidates and 141 of 155 partylist groups have filed their statements of contributions and expenditures (SoCEs) as the filing deadline ended Wednesday night.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported that 25 of 28 political parties also complied with the requirement.

Comelec chairperson George Garcia warned that candidates, partylist groups and political parties who have twice violated SoCE filing regulations face criminal charges and perpetual disqualification from holding public office.

He also cited that in the 2022 elections, Comelec filed over 400 cases against candidates, partylist groups and political parties for failing to submit their SoCEs.
