This 12 June, SM City Davao invites everyone to celebrate Philippine Independence Day with a uniquely Filipino flair — complete with jeepney-themed displays, OPM sing-alongs, and homegrown food favorites.
Bringing the spirit of bayanihan to life, the mall transforms into a fiesta zone with its PPop Karaoke Challenge, encouraging shoppers to belt out their favorite hits. From heartfelt ballads to high-energy performances, it’s a stage for every voice. Local flavors also take center stage, as food stalls and pop-ups offer regional snacks and delicacies perfect for a taste of nostalgia.
For Instagram-worthy moments, visitors can strike a pose at Pinoy Pride-inspired installations—featuring iconic symbols of Filipino heritage, from woven fabrics to classic jeepney art.
“Whether you're here for the kain, kantahan, or kilig, this year’s Independence Day at SM City Davao is all about celebrating what makes us proudly Pinoy,” SM Supermalls said in a statement.
The event is part of a nationwide initiative by SM Supermalls to mark the country’s 126th Independence Day with festivities that highlight Filipino music, creativity, and community spirit.
