Barangay Ginebra snapped TNT's six-game winning streak after posting a 97-78 victory in their Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup match last Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

RJ Abarrientos dropped 23 points while Japeth Aguilar had a double-double game of 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Kings picked up their seventh win in 10 games.

Ginebra also spoiled Jordan Heading's debut for the Tropang 5G after being traded by Converge for Mikey Williams.

“It’s an elimination game, they are coming off a six-game winning streak, they played a day before yesterday. I just don’t think they were that ready for our intensity tonight,” Kings head coach Tim Cone said.

“We’ve been off for a week, we’ve been planning on this game all week. It was a big game in terms of standings and top four, and I think you have to appreciate the six-game winning streak after starting the conference slow with three losses."

Calvin Oftana scored 18 points as TNT absorbed a 6-4 record.
