Operatives from the Manila Police District (MPD) arrested four individuals Friday night in two separate anti-drug operations in Intramuros and Sta. Cruz.
In Intramuros, operatives from the Manila Police District Station 5 conducted a buy-bust operation along Bonifacio Drive corner A. Soriano Avenue, Barangay 655, at around 11:40 p.m.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Richmond Drona, a construction worker and alleged member of the BCJ gang, residing in Baseco Compound; Flores Melanito, an alleged member of the Sputnik Gang and Ian Kenneth Leal, also an alleged Sputnik Gang member.

Authorities seized an estimated four grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of P27,200.
In a separate operation in Sta. Cruz, elements of MPD Station 3 arrested a lone female suspect in a buy-bust along A. Mendoza Avenue corner Malabon Street, Barangay 341, at about 9:35 p.m. Friday.
The suspect was identified as Lorie Ann Burleson, who yielded approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu, including its packaging, with an estimated street value of P102,000.
The arrested individuals are currently detained at their respective MPD stations and will face charges for violation of Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs) at the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
