Operatives from the Makati City Police arrested two of the city’s most wanted individuals in separate operations Monday morning.
At approximately 10:20 a.m., police operatives apprehended a 28-year-old male driver known as “Bernie,” listed as the ninth most wanted person for May 2025. He was arrested along Chino Roces Avenue in Barangay La Paz for carnapping under Republic Act 10883.
Police identified the suspect as a resident of Talamban, Cebu. The arrest was made by personnel from the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Investigation and Detective Management Section (IDMS), under the supervision of Acting Chief of Police PCol. Jean I. dela Torre and led by PCPT Jover B. Borja.
The arrest was carried out based on a warrant issued by Parañaque City Regional Trial Court Branch 294 Judge Leilanie Marie N. Dacanay-Grimaraes, with a recommended bail of P300,000.
