Rosegie Ramos pocketed three of the Philippines' four silver medals to kick off their campaign in the Asian Weightlifting Championships in China last Friday.
Ramos finished in second place in the women's 49-kilogram category after lifting 90kgs in the snatch, 107kgs in the clean-and-jerk, and a total lift of 197kgs.
Thanyathon Sukcharoen of Thailand won the event after with a total lift of 200kgs while Xiang Linxiang of China lifted a total of 189kgs for the bronze medal.
In the men's 55kg event, Fernando, Agad Jr. added a silver medal after a lift of 141kgs in the clean-and-jerk.
Unfortunately, his total lift of 254kgs fell short of at least a bronze medal.
