With just days to go before the elections, Senator Bong Go has taken a commanding lead in the 2025 senatorial race, emerging as the top choice among voters with 62.2 percent support, far ahead of other candidates vying for a seat in the upper chamber.
According to Pulse Asia Survey published on Monday, Go was the only candidate to surpass the 60 percent mark, followed by Erwin Tulfo (42.4 percent), former Senate President Tito Sotto (41.1 percent) and Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (41.0 percent).
The survey was conducted from 20 to 24 April among Filipino adults nationwide.
Go, a long-time aide of former president Rodrigo Duterte, continues to enjoy broad name recall and solid backing across regions.
Among the 64 Senate hopefuls, 14 candidates have a statistical chance of winning, including Senators Bong Revilla, Lito Lapid, and Pia Cayetano; former senators Ping Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, and Bam Aquino; broadcaster Ben Tulfo; Makati Mayor Abby Binay; Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar; and TV host Willie Revillame.
