It was a perfect day for golf — and an even better one for camaraderie — as The Great British Golf Tournament returned in full swing at the prestigious West Course of Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City on Thursday.
Organized by the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP), the annual event brought together members, partners, and guests for an exciting 18-hole round. But beyond the swings and putts, it was a celebration of friendship, business connections, and a shared love for the game.
BCCP executive chairman Chris Nelson officially opened the tournament with a ceremonial tee shot, setting the tone for a day of great play and even greater conversations. Golf legend and many-time pro winner Angelo Que added prestige to the event, making an appearance that thrilled the attendees.
“This isn’t just a golf tournament — it’s a way to build bridges and deepen connections in a relaxed, meaningful way,” Nelson said.
The day wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Backing the event were some of the most respected names in business, including Autohub Group, Century Properties, GetGo, HSBC, Philippine Airlines, Arthaland Corporation, Jollibee Foods Corporation, RHK Land Corporation, Shell Exploration, Allianz, Britpart, Eastern Communications, Hertz, Meralco-MSpectrum, Philip Stein-Lucerne Group, Pru Life UK, RLC Residences, Shang Residences, PMFTC and Motolite.
Media coverage was proudly provided by DAILY TRIBUNE, ensuring the tournament’s highlights reached golf fans far and wide.
All in all, it was another successful run for The Great British Golf Tournament — proof that when business and golf mix, great things can happen both on and off the course.
