A 52‑year‑old man was arrested during a buy‑bust operation in Sitio Cabaruan, Barangay Lydia, Marcos, Ilocos Norte, on Friday morning, 18 April 2025.
The suspect, identified as Allan Felipe y Zamora, single and a resident of the barangay, was apprehended at about 9:40 AM by operatives of the Marcos Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (INPDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency‑Region 1 (PDEA RO1).
The operation led to the confiscation of approximately 4 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P27,200. The illegal substance was packed in 15 heat‑sealed transparent plastic sachets.
Authorities also recovered non‑drug evidence, including the marked buy‑bust money, an empty cigarette pack, and a small brown paper bag.
