George Royeca, first nominee of Angkasangga Partylist and founder and CEO of Angkas, expressed optimism and gratitude on Wednesday following the release of the latest Pulse Asia survey results.

The survey ranked Angkasangga among the top 45 most preferred partylist groups out of the 155 contenders in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.

According to the Pulse Asia survey conducted from 23 to 29 March, Angkasangga Partylist garnered 0.63 percent voter preference, a figure sufficient to potentially secure one seat in the House of Representatives under the party-list system.

“We are deeply grateful for the growing support from our base. With less than a month to go, the latest survey results confirm what we’ve been feeling on the ground — our momentum is real, and our movement is resonating,” Royeca told DAILY TRIBUNE.

He added, “The path ahead is clear, and we are confident that together, we are on track for a strong finish.”

Pulse Asia’s survey involved face-to-face interviews with 2,400 respondents nationwide, selected through random sampling. The findings also revealed that 99 percent of Filipinos are aware of the partylist system, reflecting high voter consciousness ahead of the 12 May elections.

In addition to Angkasangga’s performance, the survey showed that five partylist groups have a statistical chance of winning up to the maximum three seats allowed under the law.

The Angkasangga Partylist aims to represent the interests of transport workers, delivery riders, and other members of the gig economy — sectors that Royeca has long championed through his work with Angkas.

With campaign efforts intensifying as election day draws near, Royeca said their team remains focused on direct engagement with communities, emphasizing the importance of giving voice and representation to everyday workers who keep the economy moving.
