A female student at a certain university in Manila reportedly died Saturday morning after falling from the fourth floor of a building, police said Monday.
Manila Police District homicide investigator PMSg Roderick Magpale disclosed that the incident occurred at 9:22 a.m. and investigations showed that the student stood on a bench on the fourth-floor terrace and then jumped.
Another student told police that she saw the victim rushing to the fourth floor of the building. The victim was still wearing her school uniform when the incident occurred.
She was taken to Manila Doctors Hospital but was declared dead at 10:28 a.m.
Authorities asked friends of the victim who may have information about any problems she was facing to come forward.
