Tzu Chi Medical Foundation Philippines CEO Alfredo Li and its president, Dr. Antonio Say, participated in the colloquium on Intercultural Spiritual Care for Culturally Chinese Populations held at the Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts on 27 to 29 March.
Li was invited to the event to discuss how the Tzu Chi Philippines provided material and spiritual care to the survivors of super typhoon “Haiyan” during the organization’s relief and rehabilitation efforts in Ormoc, Leyte.
Say was invited to participate in the panel and round table discussions.
Tzu Chi USA organized the colloquium that was also attended by Master De Chen and Master De Yuan from the international humanitarian organization’s headquarters in Hualien, Taiwan and other volunteers.
