ONIC snaps Aurora's win streak

Defending MPL champion ONIC PH has snapped Aurora's eight-game win streak on Week 5 Day 3 of MPL Season 15 this Saturday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.

The world champion roster of Kelra, K1ngkong, Brusko, Kirk, and Super Frince yielded Game 1 to its fellow M6 representative Aurora.

ONIC PH rallied on Games 2 and 3 with its signature heroes, pulling off a reverse sweep to score its fifth straight win and improve its season standing to 6-3.

"Our mindset was we wanted to get even with every team. We are eager to get back," ONIC PH gold laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas said after the match.

Aurora was the first team to qualify for the Playoffs despite the loss.

Earlier in the day, Team Liquid PH returned to its winning ways following a 2-1 win over Team Falcons. TNC, meanwhile, scored a sweep over AP Bren.
