The streets of Manila came alive with energy and excitement as Kaunlad Pinoy Partylist (#133) officially launched its local campaign with a massive motorcade rally on Friday, 28 March. The event, which started at Road 10 near the historic Smokey Mountain, saw thousands of enthusiastic supporters lining the streets, cheering, and waving as the convoy made its way through the city’s bustling districts.

The rally stretched across various districts of Manila, with every stop met by an outpouring of support from market vendors, transport groups, small business owners and everyday Filipinos eager to express their backing for the movement.

Kaunlad Pinoy first nominee James “Kuya Choi” Napoles led the motorcade, standing alongside local community leaders, engaging with supporters and sharing the partylist’s vision of economic empowerment, financial literacy and livelihood opportunities for all Filipinos.

As the convoy passed through Manila’s main roads, streets echoed with chants of support, applause, and cheers from those who believe in Kaunlad Pinoy’s mission. Residents came out of their homes, vendors paused from their work, and motorists honked their horns in solidarity — all signs of a groundswell of support for a partylist that promises real action for micro, small and aspiring entrepreneurs.

“It’s overwhelming to see this kind of unity,” Napoles said in Filipino. “This is not just about politics — this is about making sure that every hardworking Filipino has the chance to succeed. Kaunlad Pinoy is here to bring real opportunities to every community.”

The motorcade lasted for several hours, winding through key areas of Manila, leaving behind a palpable sense of excitement and momentum. Supporters waved banners and flashed the signature #133 hand sign, symbolizing their belief in the partylist’s commitment to inclusive economic growth.

As the local campaign season officially begins, Kaunlad Pinoy’s Manila kick-off event has set the tone for what promises to be a dynamic and people-driven movement. With its unwavering focus on helping Filipinos build sustainable livelihoods and fostering a nation of entrepreneurs, the partylist is taking its message to every corner of the country — one community at a time.
