Artists and cultural professionals across Japan, ASEAN countries, and Timor-Leste now have an opportunity to deepen cross-border collaboration as the Japan Foundation opens applications for its Visual Arts Fellowship under the WA Project 2.0.
The initiative, part of the foundation’s commitment to fostering artistic exchange, aims to support individuals engaged in transnational projects that promote collaboration and cultural co-creation in the visual arts sector.
Through this fellowship, the Japan Foundation seeks to strengthen artistic networks and cultivate emerging talent by providing resources and opportunities for immersive cultural experiences. Selected fellows will have the chance to engage in research, production, and exhibition projects that bridge artistic communities across participating countries.
