Survivor's story: Josh Ford's journey of loss and resilience in Pinoy Big Brother

"There were four of us in the car, and I'm the only one who survived." These words, spoken by Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Josh Ford, reveal a profound tragedy that has shaped his life.

In a candid moment within the PBB house, Josh opened up about a devastating car crash in March 2023. "I was part of a car crash in March 2023... There were four of us in the car, and I'm the only one who survived. I asked myself, 'Why me again? Why this again? Something else has happened. Everything was going well,’" Josh shared.

The loss was immense. "They weren't just best friends to me; they were like brothers... They were taken from me because of a car crash," he added, his voice heavy with grief. Notably, those lost included Paolo Bueza, Armand Velasco, and fellow Sparkle artist Andrei Sison.

The tragic event served as a stark wake-up call. "[...] After that, my mindset changed... You just have to be nice to people, you know? Live your life every single day as if it’s your last. Because you’ll never know if it’s your last day or not," he reflected.
