Fan-favorite Aurora scored an impressive victory against MPL PH defending champion ONIC PH on Week 1 Day 2 of Mobile Legends Professional League PH Season 15 this Saturday evening at Green Sun in Makati.

Demonkite, Renejay, Yue, Domeng, and Edward went toe-to-toe with the M6 world champion roster of K1ngkong, Kirk, Kelra, Brusko, and Super Frince and came out on top with a 2-1 win in the best-of-three series, which happens to be their first win ever against ONIC PH.

"We are finally able to unleash our play. Our goal now is to be consistent throughout the MPL season and improve some more," Aurora head coach Master The Basics said after the match.

"Now we were able to win against ONIC PH, but that was not our goal. The goal was to win two games right away, but their championship experience came out."

Now 2-0 in the opening week, Aurora will see action again on Week 2 against AP Bren.
