The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has partnered with DFNN to launch “LottoMatik,” a portable point-of-sale device aimed at increasing lotto sales and enhancing funding for government charitable programs.

In a statement, the PCSO said that LottoMatik simplifies lotto ticket purchases, offering a “seamless experience.”

The system allows small businesses and individuals to sell PCSO lottery tickets, enabling them to become micro-entrepreneurs.

DFNN’s LottoMatik enables PCSO lotto offerings to be accessible through PoS devices, allowing sales in space-challenged locations.

Launched in 8 November 2024, the LottoMatik brand became a PCSO authorized agent and its main goal is to reach areas lacking lotto outlets, increasing Filipino participation in charity.

The PCSO said participating in the lottery allows individuals to contribute to government charitable and health programs.

Increased accessibility is also expected to deter participation in illegal lottery activities, protecting government revenue for social welfare programs.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said LottoMatik “represents a significant step forward in making lottery participation accessible to every Filipino.”

“By leveraging technology, we are not just offering a chance to win but also a chance to contribute to community welfare,” Robles said.

DFNN and the PCSO also aim to reshape the lottery landscape by making it more accessible and engaging.
