Former actress Katherine Luna couldn’t hold back her tears as she publicly apologized to actor Coco Martin.
This came after she previously involved the actor in a paternity controversy, believing at the time that Coco was the father of her child. The two had a brief romance, and when she discovered she was pregnant, she immediately assumed Martin was the father.
In an emotional moment, Luna expressed her remorse for dragging Martin into the issue and causing him unnecessary trouble.
"Sobrang hiyang-hiya ako. Kung anuman 'yung nangyari, 'yung mga nasabi ko dati, sana balang araw mapatawad mo ako. Gusto kong magpasalamat kasi... hindi ka katulad ng ibang ama na kapag sinabing sa kanila, wala nang pakialam at lumalayo. Pero ikaw, triny mo talagang lumapit, triny mo talagang malinawan. Mahal mo si Nicole pero 'yun nga, sorry, nagkamali ako. Dala ng kabataan, dala ng mga maling nagawa ko noon. At ikaw, nagulo ang buhay mo. Humihingi ako ng dispensa. Sana, mapatawad mo ako balang araw," the actress said in the interview.

To this day, Nicole has not met her biological father. Luna revealed that he is a Chinese businessman who is now married to an actress. While she chose to keep his identity private, she confirmed that he is not part of the entertainment industry.
Luna and Martin first met while working on an indie film, which led to a brief romance. Their past relationship has remained a topic of public curiosity, but Katherine now wants to move forward, focusing on her daughter’s well-being and leaving the past behind.
A former actress in the Philippines, Luna rose to fame in the early 2000s and gained recognition after winning multiple Best Actress awards for her performance in Babae sa Breakwater.
