Listed DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is accelerating its expansion into Brazil’s iGaming sector with the appointment of industry expert Graham Tidey as country manager for DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda., effective 29 February.
“Brazil represents one of the most significant opportunities in global iGaming, and we are investing in the right people to ensure our success,” said DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco.
“Graham Tidey’s expertise in Latin America, proven leadership in regulatory navigation, and track record in driving strategic growth make him the ideal choice to lead our expansion. His appointment reinforces our commitment to building a responsible and innovative presence in this market.”
Tidey joins DigiPlus from MarketLaunch, where he advised global iGaming firms such as DraftKings and Bally’s on market entry and expansion. He also served as lead consultant for the International Betting Integrity Association in Brazil, providing regulatory advocacy and onboarding operators.
A former consul in Brazil for the UK Foreign Service, Tidey has spent nearly 15 years in the country, supporting multinational firms and building networks with government officials. He has since adopted Brazilian nationality.
“Visiting the company’s headquarters in Manila gave me every confidence for success. DigiPlus is committed to responsible expansion, and I am looking forward to creating shareholder value by fostering innovation, expanding market reach, and building a strong and sustainable business for DigiPlus in this region,” Tidey said.
DigiPlus said it will continue investing in leadership, local partnerships, and responsible gaming initiatives to strengthen its foothold in Brazil.
In January, DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda. received a federal license to operate sports betting and other online games in Brazil. The company is among just 10 percent of applicants granted a Definitive Authority from the Secretariat of Awards and Bets.
Despite its expansion into new markets with favorable iGaming regulations, DigiPlus said the Philippines remains its primary focus.
