RUGP gears up for VisMin races

DAVAO CITY — The Regional Underbone Grand Prix (RUGP) shifts into higher gear with a series of motorcycle road racing for the Visayas and Mindanao.

Race chairman and RUGP founder Jong Uy said the Mindanao Grand Prix that features Underbone 155 LTG GP and the Scooter 125 GP will kick off on 4 April at the NCC Victoria Plaza grounds.

Then, it will proceed to Tagum City on 15 June dubbed as the Honda Winner X Series.

The Visayas leg will be held on 14 September at Panglao, Bohol also known as the LYR Motor Parts and V-Man Racing Rookie Cup for Underbone 155 Open SP and the Scooter 125 Beginners.

The last leg will be in Cebu City on 15 October for the Underbone 155 Open SP and the Scooter 125 SP.

“This is part of our drive to discover new and potential Underbone and Scooter riders in the Mindanao and Visayas Regions,” Kanesugi Tomokazu, president of Eneos Philippines, said.

“As part of Eneos Motor Oil motorsporting activity this is just the start. To follow are races for the cars and 4X4 vehicles.”
