Popular mobile MOBA Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will be one of the Esports titles for a medalled event in the 2026 Asian Games, the Olympic Council of Asia announced.

One of the most watched Esports titles in the world, the Philippines has a proven track record in winning it all in Mobile Legends having won five of six M-Series World Championships.

"MLBB's inclusion at the 2026 Asian Games reflects its status as a premier mobile esport, known for its accessibility, strategic depth, and global appeal," said Moonton Games Head of Esports Ecosystem Ray Ng.

"This historic milestone not only validates MLBB’s impact on competitive gaming; it also reinforces MLBB's role in uniting diverse communities through high-level play," he continued.

"We thank the Olympic Council of Asia committee for the honor of showcasing MLBB's qualities on this prestigious stage and look forward to witnessing the Games' top-tier competition that will inspire the next generation of esports athletes."

Aside from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Street Fighter 6, Honor of Kings, Pokemon Unite, and PUBG, will be some of the titles to be played in Asian Games.

Mobile Legends will also take centerstage again in the upcoming 2025 Southeast Asian Games this December in Thailand—its fourth straight time as a medalled event in the biennial sports meet.
