The University of Santo Tomas (UST) recently participated in an enriching international exchange program titled “Enhancing the Attractiveness of Niigata Prefecture through Human Resource Development in Health, Medical Care, and Welfare.” This program, supported by the Niigata Prefecture International Exchange Promotion Fund, brought together students and faculty from Southeast Asia to explore Japan’s healthcare systems and cultural heritage.
The participants were composed of fourth year students from the College of Rehabilitation Science namely Theodore Franxynne Limson, Angelica Phoebe Rane Mendinueto, and Leila Marie Burgos. They were also accompanied by academic staff Mark Angel Serra, MOH, PTRP.
