Transportation businessman Leo Rey Yanson still holds the presidency and chairmanship of Rural Transit (Mindanao) Inc. (RTMI).
Yanson was reappointed during the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting on 12 February 2025.
Also reelected as shareholders for RTMI are Olivia Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Charles Dumancas, Rey Ardo, Anita Chua, and Daniel Nicolas Golez as members of the board of directors.
Following the election, the board subsequently reappointed Leo Rey Yanson as chairman of the board and president of RTMI, with Olivia Yanson reappointed as corporate secretary and treasurer, the company said in a statement.
Leo Rey Yanson assured the public that despite the operational challenges, the company remains strong and resilient.
“We remain steadfast in our goal to serve the Filipino commuters and provide the most reliable means of public transportation,” he said.
