PhilHealth celebrates its 30th anniversary today, 14 February, with a eucharistic mass officiated by Father Jerry Orbos, SVD. Newly appointed President and CEO Dr. Edwin M. Mercado will join 9,000 officers and employees nationwide in the event.
Following the mass, a Board Meeting chaired by Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa is set to address key policy issues affecting both providers and members, in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to ensure unhampered services.
Marking three decades, PhilHealth remains committed to improving healthcare access for all Filipinos.
