Fourteen of the 66 senatorial candidates have a “statistical chance” of securing a seat in the 2025 elections, based on the latest preference survey conducted from 18 to 25 January.
The Pulse Asia 2025 election senatorial preference survey showed Representative Erwin Tulfo remained in the lead with 62.8 percent, while Senator Christopher “Bong” Go ranked second with 50.4 percent.
Former Senate president Tito Sotto placed third with 50.2 percent, followed by broadcaster Ben Tulfo with 46.2 percent, Senator Pia Cayetano with 46.1 percent, Senator Bong Revilla with 46 percent, Senator Imee Marcos with 43.3 percent, former senator Ping Lacson with 42.4 percent, TV host Willie Revillame with 41.9 percent, Senator Bato dela Rosa with 41.2 percent, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay with 41.1 percent, and former senator Manny Pacquiao with 40.6 percent.
Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar landed in 13th place with 38.4 percent, while Senator Lito Lapid secured 14th place with 37.7 percent.
Only Senator Francis Tolentino and former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos did not make the list.
The official start of the campaign period for national positions is set for Tuesday, 11 February.
In a statement on Monday, Go expressed gratitude to his supporters for their trust.
