President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. welcomed Mitsubishi Motors Corporation President and CEO Takao Kato during a courtesy call on 6 February 2025, in the Study Room of Malacañan Palace. Also present during the engagement were Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's Tatsuo Nakamura, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation's Noriaki Hirakata, and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda, along with Philippine government officials Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Maria Cristina Aldeguer-Roque and Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick D.
