On 4 February 2025, K-pop superstar G-Dragon thrilled fans by announcing the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, Übermensch, set to drop on 25 February 2025. This marks his first full-length album in nearly 12 years, following COUP D’ETAT in September 2013.
Reports of G-Dragon’s comeback first surfaced in January 2025, with South Korean media hinting at both an album and a solo concert in March. The latter was seemingly confirmed by BIGBANG bandmate Daesung during Taeyang’s solo concert at Inspire Arena in Incheon on 1 February 2025.
This upcoming concert will be G-Dragon’s first solo show in almost eight years, following the closing performances of his Act III, M.O.T.T.E world tour in Taipei on 7–8 October 2017.
Ahead of Übermensch, G-Dragon released two singles: POWER on 31 October 2024 and HOME SWEET HOME, a collaboration with Taeyang and Daesung, in November 2024.
