The Department of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring reports on the possible freeze of US foreign assistance worldwide, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
It added that the Philippine government is working with the US Department of State and the US government to determine how it will affect the country.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump issued an executive order halting foreign development assistance for a period of 90-days pending review of efficiencies and consistencies in his foreign policy.
