MARIVELES, Bataan — The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is exploring water supply improvements with key partners to avoid potential shortages in the industrial zone.
AFAB administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, along with Chief of Staff Augusto H. Kimpo and Freeport Facilities department manager Engr. Hazel N. de Guzman, met with Tubig Pilipinas Group, Inc. and FB Infrastructure Corporation on 23 January to discuss plans for improving water supply and sanitation services within the Freeport Area of Bataan.
The meeting followed an increase in the number of investors and workers in the state-owned AFAB, which is under the Office of the President of the Philippines.
Discussions focused on upgrading infrastructure and implementing modern solutions to ensure reliable services for businesses and residents.
“This initiative reflects AFAB’s commitment to enhancing facilities to meet the Freeport’s growing needs and providing world-class amenities while fostering a conducive environment for businesses and communities,” Pangandaman said.
