Police reported the arrest of a 67-year-old former barangay tanod of Navotas City for allegedly committing lascivious acts against a minor in 2024.
PLTCOL Randolf Perez Asuncion, Navotas City Assistant Chief of Police for Administration, said the lascivious acts occurred twice while the suspect was helping prepare for the child’s birthday celebration.
“Our suspect was assisting in preparing the venue for the child’s birthday party. Around 1 a.m., he approached the victim and carried her to his lap, where he then touched the child’s private parts,” Asuncion said.
The police further said that the lascivious act occurred again, and this time, the mother witnessed it.
