Blacklist International exits MPL

After weeks of speculation, Blacklist International has officially announced its exit from Mobile Legends Professional League PH.

One of the greatest franchises if not the greatest franchise in local Esports, Blacklist International is a three-time MPL PH champion and the M3 Mobile Legends world champion. OhMyV33nus, Wise, Hadji, Edward, and Oheb were some of its best players.

"Though we believe in the future of the MLBB community, with a heavy heart, we bid a bittersweet farewell to the Blacklist MLBB men’s team, as the organization has decided to transfer our MPL Franchise Ownership to a new organization for MPL Season 15," Blacklist International said in a statement.

"This difficult decision was made in response to the business opportunity that was presented to us which aligns with the new direction of Tier One Entertainment to go beyond Esports," it continued.

"While Blacklist International is open to reentering the league in the future, we want to use this time to reassess our position in the space. For now, the Blacklist International organization will be focusing our efforts into developing our rosters for our existing titles."

While MPL PH is yet to announce the new teams for the upcoming season, a reliable source told Daily Tribune that Twisted Minds and Team Falcons are the two new teams in Season 15, with RSG PH having also sold its slot.
