SB19, BINI shine at 10th Wish Music Awards

SB19 further proved their reign as undisputed Kings of P-pop by claiming an impressive eight awards at the 10th Wish Music Awards held at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
The group secured two major honors: Ballad Performance of the Year for their heartwarming pop song "Ilaw" and Song Collaboration of the Year for their powerful track "kalakal," featuring the iconic Pinoy rapper Gloc 9.
However, SB19's success didn’t stop with group accolades. Members Stell, Felip, and Pablo each earned individual recognition, showcasing their versatile talents.
Stell’s heartfelt ballad “‘Di Ko Masabi” earned Ballad Song of the Year, while he also won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the special Wishers’ Choice award.

Felip’s edgy rock anthem "Kanako" won Rock/Alternative Song of the Year, while Josh Cullen's "Get Right" took home Hip-hop Song of the Year. Pablo’s exceptional artistry earned him the prestigious Artist of the Year award.

The night was further highlighted by an unforgettable performance from Justin and labelmate dwta, who closed the event with their unreleased track "Sampung Mga Daliri," leaving a touch of magic on the WMA stage.
BINI bags big wins
Meanwhile, girl power was in full force as BINI, the Nation’s Girl Group, claimed three major awards.
The eight-member powerhouse group was honored with Group of the Year, Pop Performance of the Year for their chart-topping hit “Karera,” and Pop Song of the Year for the infectious anthem "Pantropiko."

This year’s 10th WMA, the largest edition to date, not only celebrated outstanding music but also spotlighted charity, bringing together the best of OPM and its fans.
In addition to the major award wins, the evening recognized two exceptional KDR Icons for their invaluable contributions to the music industry.
Ogie Alcasid, a stalwart of OPM and one of the country’s most celebrated hitmakers, was named the KDR Icon of Musical Excellence.
