In 2024, Cebu Pacific (CEB) transported more than 1 million passengers to and from Clark International Airport, some 300,000 more than the year before.
From 79,000 seats in January 2024, the average monthly seat count increased by 102 percent, to 161,000 seats in December last year.
Meanwhile, from 441 flights in January the average number of flights nearly doubled as well to 872 flights in December.
The airline’s goal of making travel more accessible to passengers from central and northern Luzon regions, including Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, Isabela and La Union, has been made possible with the expansion of flights and seat capacity.
Robust growth
“We are thrilled with the robust growth we saw in 2024, which demonstrates the rising demand from our passengers from central and northern Luzon for easily accessible air travel,” said Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.
“Cebu Pacific is unwavering in its dedication in providing convenient and reasonably priced flights, making sure we satisfy our customers’ changing needs,” Iyog added.
