Actor, TV host, and comedian Vic Sotto expressed gratitude and optimism on Tuesday as he was officially launched as the newest ambassador for the Filipino-based food supplement Santé Barley.

This comes amidst the cyberlibel complaints he filed against director Darryl Yap over the upcoming film The R*pist of Pepsi Paloma. Despite the controversy, Sotto shared that he remains unfazed by the allegations and negativity surrounding the film.

“I have a clean conscience, malinis ang pakiramdam ko, wala naman dapat ika-worry. Ma-stress ka lang kapag inisip mo e, so relax lang (I have a clean conscience, I feel at peace, and there's nothing to worry about. You'll only get stressed if you dwell on it, so I just stay relaxed),” Sotto said confidently.

He acknowledged the unwavering support of his family, friends, and trusted brands, which continue to stand by him.

“I know, ramdam na ramdam ko ang suporta, lalo na sa ating mga press. Thank you, I really appreciate it. Kaya of course, I appreciate my wife, my children, ang ating mga kaibigan. Maraming salamat, sila ang nagbibigay ng lakas ng loob sa akin (I know, I really feel the support, especially from our press. Thank you, I truly appreciate it. Of course, I also appreciate my wife, my children, and our friends. Thank you so much, they give me the strength to keep going),” he shared.

When asked about the case’s impact on his life, Sotto emphasized his faith in staying on the right path.

Daanan mo nang daanan, isa lang naman ang pupuntahan natin, sa derecho ang daan. Yun lang naman ang importante, bawal ang paliko-liko ("Just keep going straight, there's only one place we’re heading to. The path is straightforward. That’s all that matters),” he quipped.

He also expressed gratitude for the support from his brothers in the entertainment industry, Tito Sotto and Joey De Leon.

“Of course, they are both supportive. Kahit [ano] na ang mangyari, sama-sama kami (No matter what happens, we’re in this together),” Sotto said.

Ending on a hopeful note, Sotto highlighted the importance of faith and prayer in overcoming challenges.

“Ako talaga si relax lang e, hindi ko masyado pino-problema. Hindi naman tayo bibigyan ng problema ng Panginoon kung hindi kayang ayusin ("I’m someone who just takes things easy; I don’t stress too much. God won’t give us problems that we can’t handle),” he concluded.
