K-pop sensation IVE has unveiled Rebel Heart, the pre-release track from their upcoming extended play (EP) IVE EMPATHY, on 13 January.

The music video, starring all six members — An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo — narrates a journey from the chaos of rebellion to the serenity of achieving a shared mission. It powerfully portrays solidarity among rebels, each with their unique story.

The visuals emphasize the group’s symbolic message, showcasing the members standing alone in different settings. These scenes highlight the challenges of youth defying societal norms, even when faced with isolation and a lack of support.

Fans got their first glimpse of Rebel Heart during IVE’s electrifying performance at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon in December. Now, the track sets the stage for their highly anticipated EP, IVE EMPATHY, which will drop on 3 February. This release marks IVE’s first comeback in over nine months since IVE SWITCH took the K-pop scene by storm in April 2024.

Since their debut in December 2021, IVE has dominated South Korea’s music charts with mega-hits like Love Dive, After Like, Kitsch, I Am, and Baddie.
