STUDIO X+U has unveiled a new poster for its highly anticipated mystery-thriller drama Friendly Rivalry, starring Jung Soo Bin and Hyeri.

Friendly Rivalry, based on a popular webtoon, is set at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, an elite institution for South Korea's top one percent, where cutthroat academic competition drives students to their limits.

The story centers on Woo Seul Gi played by Jung Soo Bin, a transfer orphan student who finds herself entangled in the secret ambitions and rivalries of her classmates. The drama also explores the suspicious death of Seul Gi’s father, a former college entrance exam question setter, adding a layer of suspense.

Meanwhile, Hyeri takes on the role of Yoo Jae Yi, the school’s top 0.1 percent student whose impeccable academic record grants her unmatched influence. Although Jae Yi appears to extend kindness towards Seul Gi, the narrative questions whether her motives are sincere or fueled by hidden intentions.

The newly released poster heightens the intrigue, depicting Seul Gi standing upright with Jae Yi leaning her head on Seul Gi’s shoulder, symbolizing their complex dynamic.

The poster’s striking phrases — “Do you think it’s genuine?” over Seul Gi’s face and “Do you think it’s goodwill?” over Jae Yi’s — suggest a psychological battle where trust and ambition collide.

With its compelling premise and exploration of power, trust, and ambition, Friendly Rivalry is set to deliver a captivating narrative when it premieres on 10 February.
