Aiah Arceta, a member of the nation’s girl group BINI, recently tried scuba diving for the first time.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Arceta shared her underwater experience, which happened shortly before her trip to Egypt.
On X (formerly Twitter), Arceta clarified her experience after fans expressed concerns about diving before traveling by plane.
“Hey guys! I appreciate everyone’s concern! We did ask the instructor before diving, and I was told na I can but only for a super short time and a shallow dive only. During my flight din, I didn’t feel anything naman, and I even had a great sleep haha so I am all good,” she wrote.
The BINI member also addressed speculation that she went scuba diving with GMA actor Jak Roberto, who reposted her Instagram story. She explained that she was with a group of friends, not exclusively with Roberto.
In a screenshot shared by Chaz Quiros on X, Arceta laughed off the rumors surrounding her “scuba diving moment.”
“oh so di na sila mag overthink ani HAHAHAHAHHA,” Quiros wrote, with Arceta replying in Bisaya, “Oo maoy reason ngano nagstory ko ana haha,” meaning, “Yes, that’s the reason why I posted about it.”
As of this writing, Arceta’s latest social media update shows she is now in Thailand.
