A police report revealed that Atty. Julie was riding on a Montero Sport Utility Vehicle when the gunmen sprayed his vehicle with bullets a few meters away from his residence in Villa Santa Maria in barangay Sta. Maria in this city at about 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

According to a report Julie was enroute to the Zamboanga International Airport when ambushed by unidentified gunmen on board a Honda click color white.
