The Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported on Friday that a Chinese woman allegedly involved in illegal offshore gaming operations had been arrested.
BI Intelligence Division chief Forunato Manahan Jr. identified the suspect as Pan Meishu, also known as Hannah, a 49-year-old who was arrested by BI operatives inside a hotpot restaurant in Pasay City.
According to Manahan, Pan is allegedly linked to Zun Yuan Technology’s illicit offshore gambling operations in Bamban, Tarlac, which were previously raided by authorities for alleged criminal and human trafficking activities.
Zun Yuan, formerly known as Hongsheng Gaming Technology Inc., is a subject of investigations involving former Bamban Mayor Alice Leal Guo.
