Some of Sanman Boxing’s main men made rousing performances late Thursday night at the Bula Gymnasium in General Santos City.

Former world bantamweight title challenger Reymart Gaballo, two-time world minimumweight title challenger Vince Paras and ex-world fly title challenger Dave Apolinario came out victorious, leaving their promoter JC Mananquil grinning from ear to ear.

Gaballo, once the world’s top 118-pounder dismantled James Pagaling in three rounds while Paras did the same thing to Anthony Gibuela in four rounds and Apolinario went six rounds in outclassing Jeny Boy Boca.

Meanwhile, Mananquil likewise raved about the recent showing of another world title challenger in Jeo Santisima, who took out Japanese Hiro Ichimichi in three rounds in Osaka.

A barrage of hard blows forced the referee to call a halt to the contest, giving Santisima something to look forward to in the coming new year.

“Our plan with Jeo (is for him to fight for) a regional title abroad next year,” Mananquil told DAILY TRIBUNE.
