There is a saying in combat sports that you are only a real champion if you have defended your title at least once. And while Fnatic ONIC PH does not operate in the same space, its head coach Anthony "YnoT" Senedrin would like to adopt the same mentality.

Fresh off winning the M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, YnoT stressed that his team's journey is far from over as they look to defend the MPL PH championship next season and ultimately win M7 in January 2026.

"That is really it. For as long as we are here, we will keep pushing," YnoT said in an exclusive interview with DAILY TRIBUNE.

"I am pretty sure the players have plenty of goals. Yes, we celebrate the night, but tomorrow we are no longer champions. Tomorrow is another journey to becoming a new champion."

YnoT, who coaches the world championship roster of Kelra, K1ngkong, Kirk, Super Frince, and Brusko, says that besides improving in the game, it is also vital that he does not let their recent success get into the players' heads.

"I am rather simple with them, I let them be them but when I am serious, they have to listen," YnoT said.

"We give and take. I make them understand that what I say is for them. If they want to be champions, let us do things. We all want the same thing. We are happy with what we do."
