Robert Bolick scored 20 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter to tow NLEX to a 104-99 win over San Miguel Beer in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner's Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City Sunday evening.
The Road Warriors have now improved their standings as they picked up their third straight win in four games.
With NLEX hanging onto a 102-99 lead with 10 seconds left to play, Bolick calmly sank his two free throws to ice the game.
“It’s a convenience to play Berto (Bolick) because it makes your offense easier. He makes decisions and he makes big shots," Road Warriors head coach Jong Uichico said.
"He’s a luxury. I’m lucky to have Robert as my lead point guard."
Michael Griffin-Watkins had a double-double outing with 17 points and 28 rebounds while Anthony Semerad had 12 points for NLEX.
Quincy Miller-Scott had 21 points and 11 rebounds for San Miguel.
