Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) has expanded its customer segment of wealthy clients from 15,000 to 500,000 through exclusive banking services and lifestyle rewards, which an executive said have been improved further.

RCBC head of retail banking Richard Lim said the bank's Hexagon Club members can now avail of various benefits under its two new types of membership.

Hexagon Club Priority provides members a dedicated team of wealth management experts, a priority phone line, and two exclusive cards: Hexagon Club Priority Platinum Mastercard Debit Card and Hexagon Club Priority World Mastercard Credit Card.

This kind of membership also provides them unlimited free local ATM withdrawals, one free international ATM withdrawal per year, and concierge services.

Free access to airport lounges

Additionally, members can have free access to international airport lounges at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 1 and 3, and a complimentary Priority Pass for access to lounges abroad.

Hexagon Club Lite, on the other hand, is granted to select RCBC depositors who will be automatically enrolled in the Hexagon Club, allowing them to start enjoying various banking services.

These include special rates on loans, time deposits, and foreign exchange. Members can also receive free gas allowance on auto loans, and waived appraisal fee on home loans, processing fee on personal loans and fees on interregional and inter-branch over-the-counter transactions.

They will also be provided with a dedicated branch relationship manager to assist them in all their banking needs.

At least P100,000

To become Hexagon Club members, RCBC clients should keep at least P100,000 in their RCBC accounts.

Whether it’s through dining perks, travel privileges, or wealth management support, Hexagon Club continues to redefine what it means to offer truly exclusive banking services," RCBC head for emerging affluent and affluent market Emmanuel Mari Valdes said.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Eli Remolona Jr. said Filipinos with bank accounts this year will likely increase to 70 percent of the total adult population from 56 percent in 2021, signaling more Filipinos on their way to becoming wealthier and accessing more financial services like lo0ns and investments.

As of end-September, RCBC grew its credit card and personal loans by 58 percent compared to the first nine months in 2023.
